Marvelo's Mind Game

Take a seat at the magician's table. The Great Marvelo twirls his moustache, waves his hands over his crystal ball and thinks of a secret number. Make a guess and he answers with a clue: higher or lower, hot or cold, or gold and silver stars for the digits you got right. The number line greys out everything you have ruled out, so you can think instead of remember.

20 rounds in 5 acts, each with a new trick: bigger numbers, warmer-colder clues, three-digit star puzzles and a grand finale that mixes them all. Solve a round in few tries for 3 stars, collect 6 stars to open the next act, and ask Marvelo for one hint per round if you are stuck. Every secret is fair and never changes mid-round: Marvelo never cheats!
